Innovate Public Schools

In Innovate Public Schools’ 2019 Report, Making Waves Academy (MWA) is recognized for its results on the 2017-18 CAASPP.  Innovate Public Schools is a Bay Area nonprofit organization whose mission is to build the parent and community demand for world-class public schools, and to accelerate the growth of these schools, particularly for low-income students and students of color.

For three out of the four years, MWA has been recognized as a: “A Top-Performing Bay Area Public School for Low Income Latino Students (Among schools that have at least 41% low-income Latino students)”. This puts MWA in the top 5% of schools serving Title I Latino students in the Bay Area.

  • 66% Met or Exceeded the Standard in English
