The Parent Leadership Team (PLT) is a parent-led group of dedicated Making Waves Academy parents and guardians who represent and advocate for the needs of our school community in partnership with the Contra Costa County Charter Coalition--most commonly known as 5C.

As informed and knowledgeable leaders, PLT members are collaborative, student-focused, and community-oriented. We serve as agents of change—committed to ensuring that all students have continued access to high-quality education. By supporting one another and working together, we act as valuable contributors to the success and well-being of our schools and families.
